On Tuesday 14th October, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 visited Lincoln Castle as part of our History learning. We made medieval shields, became Kings and Queens to enjoy a delicious 13 course banquet and we learnt how to shoot an arrow with a bow. We also walked the walls and learnt about how the castle had been built and used throughout history. What a great day we had!
Lincoln Castle visit 14.10.25
On Thursday 27th November Year 2 went on a walk around the village of South Hykeham to find physical and human features . We spotted some interested features and then sorted them when we returned to the classroom. We also drew a map using map symbols.
