Starting School in September?
Are you looking for the right school for your child for child, starting Reception in September 2027?
South Hykeham is a small school with a big heart that values every child in our care. At South Hykeham, every child matters: we celebrate every child’s individuality, helping them to feel confident, happy and ready to learn.
Our Reception children learn through wonder and play, inspiring curiosity, creativity and a love of learning through exciting experiences. We grow together, every step of the way, working with families to nurture happy, independent and confident learners. If this sounds like the right school for you and your child, we are offering tours of the school at 10am or 2pm on any date that suits you.
Give us a call on 01522 681919 or email our headteacher at Lucy.bowden@south-hykeham.lincs.such.uk to arrange your appointment. We look forward to meeting you!
We are all looking forward to welcoming you and your child to South Hykeham Primary School this September!
There will be an opportunity for all children who have been offered a place with us in September 2026 to come to visit school during the Summer term. This allows children to meet their teachers and class. We aim to make starting school a positive experience for all children.
Details of taster sessions will be sent to parents nearer the time. It may also be possible to complete visits to see your child in their pre-school or nursery setting.
