Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
World Book Day will be celebrated on Thursday 2nd March 2023 and this year we are going ‘Out of this World’ by celebrating the work of Oliver Jeffers.
On this day, we are inviting everyone to come to school in space themed non-school uniform. This could be anything from astronaut fancy dress to socks with a star on. Why not check what you have at home - do you have clothing (including pyjamas) with stars, rockets, planets etc on? Or an old t-shirt that you can draw planets, rockets or stars on? You could even get creative and build yourself a junk model rocket using boxes or bottles that you can bring in on the day.
During World Book Day, there will be a range of activities across the school based on Oliver Jeffers’s work as well as creative ideas based on space. We will also have lots of opportunities to hear different stories being read as well as taking time to enjoy and relax with a book.
