Home Learning - Week 3 - W/C. 18.1.2021
Hello everyone!
It is Week 3! Thanks again to everyone who has been in contact. I am really thankful for all the hard work you are putting in at home.
Like last week, I will upload the work on a daily basis. I will type up an overview ("What the children will do") everyday to explain activities. I have also uploaded the new Fluent in Five and spellings for this week.
Mrs Fairweather has also designed a Lego Competition! Find details below.
Please get in touch if you need any advice or reassurance. I will reply as soon as possible but please be aware I am currently teaching these lessons in school time too.
Thanks again!

Home Learning - Week 2 - W/C. 11.1.2021
Hello everyone!
On to Week 2! Thank you so much to everyone who has been in touch. I really appreciate all the emails and the support you are giving from home. I can understand how challenging it is for you.
I will keep uploading the work on a daily basis below. I will try to explain the work I expect the children to do in an overview each day ("What the children will do"). On Mondays, I will also upload the weekly Fluent in Five and spellings.
At this age, they will need support to read PowerPoints and understand tasks but I will try to make my lessons as independent as possible. Please get in touch if you need any advice or reassurance. I will reply as soon as possible but please be aware I am currently teaching these lessons in school time too.
Thanks again!

Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all well and settling into your Home Learning routine once again. I am missing you all very much.
I have started to get some emails through and I have really enjoyed looking at your work. I am so proud of how hard you are working at home, please keep this up!
Please check this page on a daily basis to get the work for the day ahead and read the overview of what you should be doing.
Once you have finished your work, send me a photo of it so I can see how you are getting on. Also, please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or queries. I will get back to you as soon as I can but please be aware that I am currently teaching full time too.
My email address is:
alex.thornhill@south-hykeham.lincs.sch.uk
Thank you for your support from home.
Miss Thornhill
NB: Where possible, I will try to produce worksheets that can be easily copied by you or whoever is looking after you straight from the internet to reduce your amount of printing. I will also try and put on PDF documents in place of PowerPoints so they can be accessed easily on both iPads and laptops. (edited 7.1.2021)
